Founder & Director

Landoro was born out of first-hand experience — not in a boardroom, but in a home that needed a lot of work.

In 2024, after purchasing a new property, I quickly discovered far more work was needed than expected. What followed was months of renovation — the kind of project that touches almost every part of a home. Structural issues, damp, a full kitchen refit, replastering, new windows, a new roof, complete rewiring and gas works, flooring from top to bottom, and a full garden transformation including landscaping and a summerhouse. It was essentially a house rebuilt from the inside out.

During that process, I came across every kind of problem a homeowner dreads. Contractors who had to come back to redo work. Others who simply disappeared. Some who clearly weren't up to the standard they claimed. It was frustrating, expensive, and time-consuming — and I knew from my professional background that I wasn't alone.

With almost seven years in the property industry, working as Area Lettings Manager at one of the region's leading property groups, I'd already seen these same problems from the other side of the fence. Homeowners and landlords alike struggling to find tradespeople they could actually rely on.

That combination of personal and professional experience is what drove me to build Landoro. Not just another directory where anyone can list themselves, but a platform where every contractor is verified, every payment is protected, and homeowners have genuine support if something goes wrong.

I don't want any homeowner to go through what I did. I want them to have the most stress-free experience possible while getting outstanding results. And it works both ways — I want contractors to feel secure too, knowing they won't be taken advantage of or left chasing payments from clients who disappear. Landoro protects both sides.
